Polyculture of Tiger Shrimp (Penaeus monodon) In Low Salinity of Brackish Water Fish Ponds

Abstract
.Tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) has suffered destruction in several countries due to pandemic diseases, poor management, and environmental degradation. Polyculture of shrimp and fish enables the development of sustainable aquaculture systems. In the polyculture systems are a combination of ecology in different fish species with an optimum density will allow resource efficiency, and this will maximize the synergy between the fish and the environment as well as minimize antagonists among them. Brackish water fish ponds area with low salinity is one alternative for tiger shrimp that can minimize the risk of disease. Polyculture were used in this study consists of three commodities namely shrimp, milkfish and tilapia. The experiment was used Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications.
