Optimalisasi Pembesaran Bibit Lele (Clarias sp.) dengan Metode Green Water Melalui Pemberian Chlorella sp. Sebagai Biodegradator Amoniak (NH3)

Abstract
Clarias sp. plays as important role in Indonesian aquaculture. There some efforts have to be done in intensive Clarias sp. culture i.e. environmental engineering, feeding management and disease control. This research was aimed to find the effect of Chlorella sp. addition to reduce the ammonia concentration caused by the uneaten feed and feces in culture media. The addition of Chlorella sp. in the culture called “Green Water” in certain density will reduce the ammonia concentration. The addition of Chlorella was done at the density of 705.104 cel/mL at one time since the concentration of ammonia media was 0.01 mg/L. The trials used 6m3 in volume and the density was 160 fries/m2. The average weight and length were 10 g/ind. and 4 cm/ind. There were two treatments i.e. P1 (without Chlorella sp. addition) and P2 (with Chlorella sp. addition), replicated in two times and reared in one month. The data were analized descriptively. The results show that the reduction of ammonia were 8.2% (P1) and 61% (P2), respectively. The absolute growth in both treatments were similar (10.0 g/individu). Furhtermore, the survival rate and FCR were 93.13%; 0,740 (P1) and 90.2%; 0,707 (P2), respectively. It can be concluded that the addition of Chlorella sp. was able to reduce the ammonia concentration and enhanced the survival rate and FCR in Clarias sp. culture.
