Causative Agent Motile Aeromonas pada Ikan Lele (Clarias gariepinus) di Sentra Produksi Provinsi Jawa Tengah

Abstract
Motile aeromonas frequently found as bacterial pathogen on catfish. This bateria was able to cause mas mortality of catfish, especially at larval stage. The aims of this study were to determine the clinical signs and causative agent of motile aeromonas in catfish from catfish production centers of Central Java Province. Twenty six isolates were isolated from moribund fish kidney and bodies wound from catfish that was showed clinical signs related to bacterial diseases. Glutamat Starch Phenile (GSP) medium was used to isolate suspected causative agent. Based on the morphological perfomance of twenty six isolates, there were six selected isolates namely, LKJT11, LKJT12, LKJT14, LDJT16, LDJT16, LBJT13. These isolates were used for postulate koch test. The postulate koch test result indicated that six isolates were able to demonstrate motile aeromoniasis around 39–92%, whilst the possibility to cause mortality as high as 0–35.7%. Therefore these isolate were potentialy to be causative agents of motile aeromoniasis in catfish. Based on the morfological and biochemical results, it was showed that the suspect of motile aeromonas causative agent in catfish (C.gaeriepinus) from catfish production centre of Central Java were Aeromonas caviae (LKJT11; LDJT14; LDJT16), Aeromonas hydrophila (LKJT12; LBJT13) dan Aeromonas salmonicida (LKJT14).
