Pemanfaatan Serasah Daun Mangrove Rhizophora mucronata Pada Pemeliharaan Udang Windu ( Penaeus monodon) di Laboratorium

Abstract
The research was conducted in wet lab of Marana Pond Station, RICA Maros, South Sulawesi using 21 aquariua each size of 0.6 x 0.3 x 0.25 m3 . Pond soil thickness of 3-4 cm was added in each bottom of aquarium. Soil drying, liming, water filling and fertilizing was applied to initiated phytoplankton growth in each aquarium. The tiger shrimp post larvae day 30 were stocked in each aquarium at the density of 10 pieces/m2. The mangrove leaf litter of R. mucronata at the different concentrations A). 0.125 g/L; B). 0.25 g/L ; C). 0.5 g/L) were tested in this research at the first factor, and the placed of mangrove leaf litter of R. mucronata ie; (1) mangrove leaf litter was placed in the reservoir tank then water in the reservoir was pumped to the rearing of tiger shrimp post larvae tank; (2) mangrove leaf litter was directly placed in the rearing of tiger shrimp post larvae tank. Each treatment in three replications and the rearing period was 60 days. The bacteriological observation in water and sediment in each aquarium was conducted in each 10 days, while shrimp production and survival rate observed at the end of the research. Result of the research showed that at the end of the research the highest of total bacterial in the water of shrimp rearing was found in B1 and C1 (3,18x104 CFU/mL) and the lowest was found in B2 (5,50x103 CFU/mL). The highest of total bacterial at the sediment was obtained in A2 (1,13x107 CFU/g) and the lowest in A1 (3,25x105 CFU/g). The highest of total Vibrio sp in water for rearing of tiger shrimp was found in control tank (7,45x102 CFU/mL) and the lowest in C1 (1,34x102 CFU/mL). The highest of total Vibrio sp. in sediment was found in B2 (6,70x104 CFU/g and the lowest in A1 (3,50x102 CFU/g). The highest of tiger shrimp survival rate was found in C1 (100%) and the lowest in C2 (60%), and statistically there were significantly different (P<0,05) with the other treatments. The highest of mean shrimp weight was obtained in C2 (2,77 ± 2,79 g) and the lowest in C1 (2,09 ± 0,17g). The highest shrimp production was found in A2, it was 24,73 ±4,23g, and the lowest in C2, it was 14,6 ± 6,79 g. The used of mangrove leaf litter, R. mucronata at the concentration of 0,5 g/L and was placed in reservoir tank, then the water flowed to the rearing post larvae of tiger shrimp was able to suppressing of Vibrio sp. population, so that it was impact to the increasing of tiger shripm post larvae survival rate. The placed of mangrove leaf litter in reservoir tank, then the water pumped to the rearing tank, was better compared when the mangrove leaf litter directly placed in tiger shrimp rearing tank.
